Slavic‑Turkic Historical and Cultural Heritage

The history of interaction between Slavs and Turkic peoples spans many centuries. Through numerous contacts, a vast shared heritage has formed, much of it located in our country. This panel will discuss the role of the Greater Altai as a historical center of Turkic ethnogenesis and will consider new vectors for cultural and academic cooperation between Russia and Turkic countries both near and far.
