Cinema as a Dialogue of Cultures: The CIS Today and Tomorrow

Continuing last year’s conversation, participants will meet to discuss how to strengthen cultural ties and find practical mechanisms for developing the cinematographies of CIS countries in an era of multipolarity.

It is becoming ever clearer that the resilience and distinctiveness of each national film school are not reasons for separation but resources for dialogue and exchange.

The session will consider models for co-production, promotion, distribution, and educational cooperation within the CIS.

The panel will culminate in the signing of a document on cooperation in cinematography among CIS countries.

Moderator:
Ivan Kudryavtsev, film journalist, producer, host of the program “The Film Industry”.
