Children's Art Schools in the Context of the State Cultural Strategy

11/09/2025
12:30 — 14:30
St. Petersburg State Academic Capella 20 Moyka River emb., St. Petersburg

The most important task of the state cultural strategy is to preserve and develop the three-level system of arts education (children's art school — college — creative university), which is unparalleled in the global educational space and has nurtured more than one generation of great figures in art and culture. Particular attention should be paid to children's music schools, which allow every child to unlock their creative potential and find their place in the big world of art. In today's reality, children's art schools should become the basis for the continuous process of self-development of a person as a subject of culture and activity, providing various opportunities for children's educational and social achievements. During the strategic session, leading representatives of various education systems will discuss important issues related to this sector, including the most pressing issues of staffing and material and technical support for children's art schools.
