Agreement between the Borodino State Military Historical Museum-Reserve and the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library

On the sidelines of the United Cultures Forum, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Borodino State Military Historical Museum-Reserve and the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library.

The signatories were Igor Korneev, Director of the Borodino State Military Historical Museum-Reserve, and Yuri Nosov, Director of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library.

“It’s a pleasure to formalize our relationship here, on the sidelines of the Forum. […] The idea for this agreement emerged two years ago. A museum and the Presidential Library—some might find that surprising, but it isn’t. It’s a very logical step: what is preserved in the museum—the written heritage—should be safeguarded at an even higher level. And where else can we find that level, if not at the Presidential Library, beyond the museum’s own storage or library? That’s why we’re here—to cement the start of our major joint undertakings,” said Igor Korneev, presenting the Director of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library with a “museum award”—a medal for the preservation of cultural and historical heritage.

“Indeed, we have a long and fruitful history [of cooperation]. We’ve just signed the agreement, drawn up a roadmap, and discussed many plans. I’m confident that everything we agreed on will be implemented. You’ll see the results. Until we meet again!” concluded Yuri Nosov.
