Since their inception, museums have served as places to preserve and display the objects of cultural heritage, and their part has expanded, so now they transformed into centers for education, inspiration and the exchange of ideas. In the new decade, museums face the challenges and opportunities of the digital age, when handheld devices and social media play a crucial role in interacting with visitors, especially among younger people.

What new communication methods do museums employ in order to attract and engage their guests? How can museums leverage the popularity of smartphones and online media to generate new, one-of-a-kind museum experiences? How do museums contribute to the preservation and interpretation of cultural heritage in today's world?
