Unleashing the Potential of Russia: Exploring Regional Cultural Traditions and Growth Opportunities

General Staff Building, Green Hall 6/8 Palace sq., St. Petersburg

Russia is a country of incredible cultural diversity. It has become a home for many peoples, providing a sense of belonging to the country’s shared history and allowing everyone to enjoy the continuity of their traditions and learn about the culture and traditions of others. Does traditional culture today inspire and shape cultural strategies? Or is it the opposite of modern cultural practices, an archaism whose value is not apparent? Do such interpretations of traditions organically complement or contradict each other? What are the paradoxes of continuity? “Unleashing the Potential of Russia: Exploring Regional Cultural Traditions and Growth Opportunities” is a conversation about the role of traditional cultures in fostering sustainable development of the tourism sector, shaping the competitiveness of regions, maintaining their social stability, and forming regional identities in modern Russia.
