On September 11‑13, 2025, the General Staff Building of the Hermitage will host the multimedia exhibition “TASS Windows: New Possibilities of Poster Art.” These posters became legendary during the war: they not only boosted morale and confidence in victory but also shaped the development of Soviet visual culture, becoming symbols of the power of word and image.
Today, their significance is being reinterpreted through the language of digital art. During the Cultural Forum, iconic images will come to life on large media screens.
In collaboration with leading specialists from Show Consulting Studio, young media artists, designers, and students from creative universities have turned to the collection of posters and created visual interpretations of the "TASS Windows" of 1941–1945, demonstrating how artistic forms of the past can inspire the present generation.
Viewers will be able to see how the laconic, emotional, and ironic posters of the 1940s unexpectedly resonate with modern visual culture, building a bridge between generations and cultural eras.
