Plenary session of the United Cultures Forum
The event was held at the Grand Catherine Palace on the territory of the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Reserve. This year's Forum theme is “Returning to Culture — New Opportunities”.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin addressed the plenary session, speaking to the participants and guests of the Forum.
“I welcome you to the International United Cultures Forum. We are sincerely glad to once again host in Russia those who serve the arts and education from different countries of the world.
I am confident that your professional dialogue, free of stereotypes and bias, will help expand the cooperation and joint work of states and peoples, and embody the motto of this year's Forum.
It is deeply symbolic that this year one of the main venues of the Forum is here, in Tsarskoye Selo.
All our forums — and this is already the 11th — have affirmed the key principle: the brighter, richer and more distinctive this diversity, the richer the world.
